The Native Way

The Native Way is an interactive, first-person, educational outreach program ideal for schools, museums, scouts, parks, historical societies, etc.

Learn first-hand about the natives of the Ohio Valley during the 18th century:
  • Hear about the survival challenges of daily life, on and off the trail
  • Learn the values and assumptions of the period and how they are different from today
  • Discover where and how the Eastern Woodland Indians lived and how it was different from the Plains Indians and the whites
  • Sample foods of the Eastern Woodland natives
  • Get an up close look at weapons, gear, accoutrements, and personal adornments of the period
  • Ask lots of questions!
The program runs approximately two hours and a group of 30-40 can easily be accomodated. Please contact me for booking inquiries or questions.
